Cawley Vaccarella is a seasoned aviation professional with over fifteen years of federal regulatory experience. From 2009 to 2024, he served as an Aviation Safety Inspector with the Federal Aviation Administration, where he specialized in auditing, regulatory compliance, and safety oversight. Dr. Vaccarella earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California, Irvine, and his Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2001. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to aviation safety, he received the FAA Drug Abatement Division’s Investigator of the Year award in 2014. His professional background spans auditing and regulatory consultation, casework management, safety analysis, and strategic communication—expertise that now supports Caprico Consulting Group’s mission to advance confidence, trust, safety, and compliance across the aviation industry.
